Star Wars was the focal point of Science Fiction that propelled the world into the ideas of what the future we wil have and how new inventions and ideas shape. Star wars was directed by George Lucas who was legendary for his use of special effects and puppetry. Many scientific theories came about because of the film like space travel. Star Wars opened in 1977 to critical acclaim and was number one at the box office and a cultural Phenomenon that got the world thinking about what secrets the universe hold.

    I only remember bits and pieces of Star Wars when I watched it as a tyke. I hardly remember anything about it now, though. Maybe I'll have to rewatch it at some point.
